The National Working Committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has reportedly approved automatic senate tickets for outgoing governors, who have declared their senatorial ambition. According to Daily Sun, the APC NWC may not grant return tickets to over 70 percent of incumbent APC Senators and members of the House of Representatives who have indicated interest to re-contest. However, it was learned that the lawmakers have mounted pressure on Senate President, Ahmad Lawan and Speaker, Femi Gbajabiamila, to prevail on the Abdullahi Adamu-led NWC to give them the right of first refusal.
